Draft Stock: Final Four Edition

Usually I am more of an NBA guy - but I love the draft and talking about where guys might get picked is a passion of mine as well. I took some time to look at the players in this year's Final Four to see who might have improved their stock or hurt it with their play. Below is a snippet of a guy who helped himself, and a guy who hurt himself.

Haven't posted in a while - but my buddy and I had a convo recently about where our favorite teams are headed. Check it out and let me know what you guys think:

Danny might be the best in the business at swapping assets for NBA stars, and once again he is in position to do so. He said yesterday that he feels the team is in a better position than it was when they swung the trades for KG and Ray Allen - which is great news for fans. The Celtics probably have the most firepower to work with (the Suns are close) in terms of draft picks and young talent. My guess is Ainge will either swing a KG like trade (maybe for Kevin Love?) or trade Rondo this summer for even more fire power. In the new CBA, young productive guys on cheap deals and first round draft picks are gold, so look for Danny to use those to his advantage and get the team back to competing in the playoffs very soon.

My immediate thought was, "Tyler Ennis is too short switch from hockey to basketball"...

General question - Danny was able to maneuver assets into actual star players during the last rebuild. How probable is it for NBA teams to rebuild in this fashion? Spurs were the Duncan lottery and scouting. Heat was purely free-agency. Lakers were free agency and a smart draft choice ahead of the high school-to-NBA movement.

Hypothetical of the day: Who would win?

One game to 15, win by 2. Who wins if its Steph Curry, Kyle Lowry and Anthony Davis vs. Tony Allen, LeBron James and Robin Lopez? I don't know why I came up with this but I thought it was an intriguing match up.

I'm going to have to go with the team with LeBron. They are stronger and have better rebounding abilities. I think they'd out muscle the other team.

Damian Lillard and the great quest

Hey guys - so obviously the big story line heading into the All-Star Weekend events is Lillard being involved in all three of the big events - Dunk Contest, 3 Point Contest, and the Skills Challenge. What do you think are the chances he comes away the winner of all three?

Personally, I think if he is on a mission, he will come damn close. The Skills Challenge should be easy to win, as I'm

I wouldn't count out Lillard or Wall in the dunk contest. You have to remember the "Nate Robinson optical illusion". Shorter athletes show the illusion that they are getting more hang time. But this thing is a toss up. So many great Dunkers. Barnes and George are the favorites in my opinion. Just on athletic ability, but the dunk contest is now so much more difficult and involves a lot more creativity. I can't see Ross repeating. But the Hidden Gem is McLemore I think a lot of people really haven't seen what this man can do.

This is the best dunk video in my opinion. I love Dwight Howard as Superman.
